We know how hard it is for professional actors to commit to a long term training, fitting around work, family life, personal commitments… and sleep! We also know how important it is for those actors to keep the engine ticking. Like athletes keep their muscles flexible & strong, so must an actor hone their instincts. 

 

Why is flex different? Because we work as a facilitated ensemble. Every class consists of an intense scene-study, curated but not taught, by Simon Naylor. We work collectively in suggested texts either provided by MAP or by you the actors with any practice YOU want. From Ibsen, to Wilson, Stephens to Churchill, no text is off limits. Guest directors will work in a safe space with participants encouraged to explore the text, make choices, share & grow. No ego’s, no judgment, just time to flex. 

 

Classes are pay as you go and guest tutors are only revealed on the day - actors need to work with all directors, not just their favourite!

This class is for established actors with professional theatre/TV credits & applications will be taken on a first come, first served basis to avoid over-crowded sessions. There will only be 6 students every session. Once you have expressed an interest you may be messaged about spaces on future classes. For other actor training, please visit here.

We never take on more than 6 students to ensure MAXIMUM contact-time for each student and a proper and thorough training,
