With an MA Voice Studies from Royal Central School of Speech and
Drama, and a varied performance career spanning 10 years, accent
and vocal coach Nic’s work covers the fundamentals of voice from
breath onto text as well as accent coaching and character voicing for
gaming and animation. She has taught at LIPA, RADA, Arts Ed, East
15 and ICAT. Her accent coaching credits encompass work for
CBeebies, Hatrick Productions, Radio 4 Comedy, Theatre 503, Fuel
Theatre Company, The Other Room, The Actors’ Guild, Stand By
Method Acting Studio and The Actors’ Lab. Nic also runs a thriving

Voice and accent coach Nic comes to 53two with a day long workshop focusing on Voice for Stage and Screen. This day will cover the fundamentals of spoken voice technique; breath, resonance and articulation, ensuring your are fully prepared for working within either performance medium. Nic will share key information on creating an efficient vocal warm up for performance, how to tailor this routine for working in stage or screen environments as well as useful tips for keeping your voice healthy and safe. The day will include both performing in a theatre space and on screen with the opportunity to review and feedback. Lunch is included. Nic will also offer 10% discount to all attendees on a follow up 1-2-1 session.
